Flawed.

you know how sometimes when you listen to a particular song, it makes you feel a certain way; like you feel exactly how you felt when you first heard it, or like you remember exactly what the situation was when you first fell in love with it?

sometimes i do get these bouts of nostalgia and i just get transported back in time to a place where i felt the most connected to a song. this overwhelming feeling just washes over me and time stops for a while. it's a pleasant feeling and i like it.

i know i sound a little crazy right now (and a little cheesy in a moment, watch for it) but i suddenly had this revelation about how music is really the food of MY soul. yes i know Shakespeare intended it to be the food of love but 'soul' kinda sums up many things, doesnt it?

and since we're on crazy things, i realised yesterday at a war exhibition that the whole concept about 'going to war for peace' is complete and utter bullshit. if only other people realised that. some call it 'manifest destiny' or whatever but you know what. you dont NEED bullshit terms like these to justify war cos it's just, very simply, STUPID.

I find it funny that both cause and effect stem from the same source - humans. we complain about things that WE have created.

it's a vicious cycle and i think it's time for bed. cos with each line, i'm sounding more and more like a drunk person. good night world.

Entry of many things

exams are in 2 days and what a sinking feeling it brings. i'm dreading the 5 essay qns that I need to attempt for sociology. 11 chaps. oh god.

but i guess i'll just have to adopt the 'xian ku hou tian' principle since i'm flying off to Hokkaido a day after my exams. so it's a =D for that.

i was supposed to paint my luggage but some people just have problems returning other people their belongings. i am very sore about the fact that i offered my fabric paints to someone who needed them for the UB pageant but now refuses to return them. just because you got first runner up and are pretty doesnt mean you can steal my very expensive paints. bloody get over yourself and please pass them to kevin.

moving on to non-repulsive things, I am currently in a fix cos i dunno what to do for my 21st birthday. I was thinking of a chalet. but i dunno where. or if there'll even be vacancy cos i was thinking of booking it on Valentine's day. not intentionally. just that it's a good weekend date. oh and everyone i love is invited. haha. *flips hair

This Wednesday sucks.

I have been in school on a non-school day since 11am, and it's now 15 minutes to 5.

stupid assignment. stupid teacher. she used to be great. but she kinda sucks now. but that's another story.

anyway sarah told me to update. she's now sipping her red bull. and she just put it down again.

i'm about to pull my hair out, i'm so bored.

after being MIA for a while, I have decided to blog with my jittery hands. I have been nursing a wicked flu and have been feeling like hell. missed school for 2 days and 1 project day =(

my body ACHES. I haven't had a decent meal in 3 days and i'm kinda afraid to weigh myself cos i know i've gotten lighter.

exams are in 2 weeks and so is my Hokkaido trip! i'm looking forward to that but it also means that i'm looking forward to my exam. which... is a very weird feeling.

I told my sister that i'm bringing my laptop and got a big shelling from her. she thinks it's no.1 too heavy, no.2 a distraction from the HOLIDAY. she said it was ridiculous that i cannot live without my laptop for 1 1/2 weeks. i got tired of arguing and decided that i'll just make the best out of my ipod touch.

sigh. time to take my medicine and vegetate.

i downloaded a 'gadget' called MiniTV for the gadgets toolbar on my desktop and i'm currently watching an 80s music channel. and before that i was watching CNN. there're also BBC, nickelodeon, a 70s and 90s music channel, some modelling channel, NASA and some other cool shit.

but you know what. i'm waiting to see what is going to happen next. because, as sad as it may be, I sincerely think that America is not as ready for a black president as they think they are.
